A Passion for Pet Care
Hi, I’m the owner and house call dog groomer behind Fuzz N Suds, a locally owned dog grooming business serving Niles, Michigan, and the surrounding area. As a lifelong Niles local, I’m proud to have built my life and now my business right here in the community I call home.
My journey into dog grooming actually happened by accident.
I originally planned to attend college for equine studies and pursue a career as a horse trainer and instructor. While completing general studies at Southwestern Michigan College, an unexpected opportunity to work with dogs came my way. Within a few months, I was hooked. I wanted to learn everything I could about professional pet care, grooming, and styling.
Five years later, that unexpected opportunity has grown into a career I genuinely love and ultimately led me to create Fuzz N Suds.

You work at the dog’s pace rather than rushing to meet a schedule. Breaks, extra time, and multiple sessions are acceptable when that is what the dog needs.

Educating Pet Parents
Education is another important part of my work.
I love helping pet parents better understand their dog’s coat, grooming needs, maintenance routine, and overall care. The more owners understand what their pets need between appointments, the more comfortable and healthy those pets can be.
Better communication and education mean healthier, happier dogs and owners who can feel confident about the care they’re providing at home.
Meet Your Dog Groomer
I’m Lily Jesswein, a lifelong Niles local, and I even had the opportunity to purchase the childhood home I grew up in. Fuzz N Suds is independently owned and operated by me, so you’ll always know exactly who is caring for your pup.
Outside of grooming, I’m a mom, a dog mom to three pups, and still a horse enthusiast at heart. I also have a horse of my own that I trained from wild to domestic.
Working with animals has taught me just how important patience, communication, consistency, and trust can be. Those same values shape the way I care for every dog who comes to Fuzz N Suds.
